@erichathy222 because most of the world believes in the Gnostic doctrine and hates the word repentance, and have twisted Paul's letters to the same degree--thinking that repentance is a work beyond "faith alone"(meaning you're trying to earn your salvation) and turning from sin is not required to be saved by proof-texting.

im not religious at all but this is above the top the goverment is going to far with this thier motto divide and conquer is not going to fly anymore what we dont understand is that if we stand up against them they will fall like a house of cards they cant control us religion or no religion fuck the goverment!!!

@erichathy222 ACTS 2:38 is hated by some christians? Repentance is a positive concept, a change of mind and heart toward God reflected in the actual goodness of one's life. It is in accord with the apostolic teaching derived from Jesus and ultimately recorded in the four gospels. Luke presents baptism in Acts as the expected response to the apostolic preaching about Jesus and associates it with the conferring of the Spirit.

ok i really need someone to respond to me on this we are having ACTS 2 38 revival worldwide and i want to know why so many churches and christians get so mad over this very first new testament church and a lot of preachers will not even preach ACTS 2 38 can someone give me a good reason why this doctrine is hated by some christians?

Most of you people are deceived. Whether or not you take any chip is not going to determine your salvation. That would be works, and we are saved by faith alone in Christ.Isaiah 66:18 “For I know their works (the mark in the hand) and their thoughts (the mark in the forehead), and the time is coming to gather all nations and tongues.
